To the Dude in the Blue Scion - I say Thank You

Dear fellow who yesterday walked all the way back to your car to retrieve your bright red Target re-usable bag right as I was pulling into the space behind you - Thanks, You Rock.

Because of you I remembered that I had my Publix re-usable bags right there in the car with me. It's all I can do to remember to bring them into the grocery store and using them in Target well that is something my brain had not previously considered.

But I did that and then emptied them out in the trunk and took them into Pier 1 - where the check-out dude totally gave me the approving nod.

And then I remembered to bring them in the grocery on the way home... so thanks to you making your special effort and walking back to your car right in front of me to retrieve your bag, I used mine and yesterday avoided like 12 plastic bags.

You saved the planet just a little more than you realized yesterday.
